Our male client uses a commode chair over his toilet. There is a space between the commode and the toilet, and urine was going onto the floor rather than in the toilet.
Tadvic sourced silicone place mat (39.5cm L x 29.5cm W) from Kmart.
The cushion on the commode was removed and the silicone mat was draped across the opening. The cushion was then placed on the seat (and silicone).
The mat was adjusted to drape into the toilet, closing the gap.
It is adjustable and easily removed to wash etc. When the commode is pushed back over the toilet, with the mat in place, the mat deflects on the edge and then falls inside the toilet I.e. it doesn’t need to be removed or adjusted. When rolled forward the mat naturally slides over the toilet rim.
