The current Tadvic was formed ten years ago on 30th August 2016.
We celebrated this milestone at our Annual General Meeting on Monday 31st August.
In the year we received 110 requests, the most we have ever received in a year. We have processed over our 700 requests in the 10 years..
Projects in the last year included:
- Three Stretch Seats for a Specialist School
- Various modifications to wheelchairs, mobility scooters and 4-wheel walkers
- Various modifications to commodes and seats
- Two Vision Impaired Table Tennis Table plus we shared our design with several other makers
- Our most challenging project, ever, is a tuner for a legally blind mandolin player. We delivered several working systems, but did not achieve the desired accuracy for a semi-professional player. Our work continues.
The role of Tadvic as a low-cost quality provider of custom assistive technology is always appreciated by a growing audience.
